Ugh...

Put The Playmaker through a 90 minute basketball workout.  Sweaty and exhausted.  Ugh.

We're effing PISSED...

Pissed away an 8-2 lead after 4 innings tonight, losing 14-8.  The Playmaker was 2-4 with 1 RBI and 2 stolen bases.

Memorial Day

Started with a 60 minute elliptical workout at 5:45 AM.  Showered and took The Playmaker for some BP and pitching.  (The Wife shagged balls for us.)  Came back and squeezed in another 60 minute workout.  Showered (again) and then watched the Phillies-Mets game with The Playmaker while The Wife and The Playmaker's Sister went to a friend's house and swam all afternoon.  After the Phillies W (six RBIs for our whipping boy, Wiggy.), we grilled boneless chicken thighs on the grill and ate dinner on the deck.

75 Big Ones...

Just got back from 75th birthday dinner with father-in-law.  Wow.  That will be us one day.

Forget it...

When Dirty Prick Garnett trips Spencer Hawes into Brandon Bass and the refs give Bass two foul shots, you know the NBA wants no part of a 76ers-Heat conference finals. Game over.

HUGE win...

Defeated the first place team tonight, 7-4.  Details tomorrow.

OMG...

Accidentally turned on American Idol tonight and was "forced" to endure it for 15 minutes.  That's possibly the worst CRAP we've ever watched.  Who would willingly watch that sheeeet?!?  First time in the history of the show we watched some of it.  Never again will we make that mistake.

A show of pathetic losers watched by pathetic losers.

Debbie Downer...

We still don't think the 76ers win the series.  BUT, if they manage to win game three tonight, then things will get very interesting.

Not kidding

Too exhausted to post. Multiple workouts, followed by lax in the pouring rain.

Get 'em outta here...

My name is Lou Williams.  I shoot 37 percent from the floor.  I can't guard anyone.  And I think I'm awesome.

Happy Mother's Day...

Celebrated with three games -- all completely spread out.  Lax at 11:15.  Baseball at 4:00.  Lax at 7:00.

Ugh.

Not even close...

Sixers will lose to the Celtics in a short five game series.

Good stuff

The Playmaker had another good Metro Friday Night.  He won the one-on-one competition for his group.  And his father hosted other dads after practice for several rounds of drinks on the deck.

Three & out...

1. Cliff Lee is back!  He is the best hitter in the Phillies' piss-poor offense.

2. Chris Carter is a waste of a person!  We would love to punch him in the face.  Hard.  Really hard.

3. Off the field, Tom Brady is a total pu$$y!  Good gawd, man.  Get some stones.

TGIF

The end of a sheeety week.  Sheeety 10 days, really.  You bypass the normal Friday Night Drinking with fellow metro team dads.  Instead you stay and watch Your Son's metro basketball practice.  He locks up the opposing point guard, who is a total prick and thinks he's NBA bound (as does his jerk-off father).  Holds the kid scoreless and picks him twice at halfcourt during the 15 minute end of practice scrimmage.  On offense Your Son blows by the loser and an iso play and converts the easy layup.

By the end of the 90 minute practice you are feeling good again.

Didn't realize two days when we posted that Seau would, in fact, off himself today.

Yikes.  Not cool.

Philly Trifecta...

Watching the Phillies (tied), Flyers (winning) and 76ers (winning).
