Quick NBA Finals Note: That missed alley-oop layup by the Magic's Courtney Lee was not, exactly, an easy shot. He was a bit too far under the backboard, plus he was drifting to his left while trying to score with his right hand. A makeable shot?!? Definitely. But it certainly was no gimmie! And if you're trying to win an NBA Championship on an alley-oop to a rookie named Courtney Lee (Courtney Lee?!?), you lose the right to bitch about him missing it.
Quick NFL Behind the Scenes Note: Granted it's about Our Eagles, but there is a great article in the Philadelphia Daily News today about how coaches work with the front office to make personnel moves. The article focuses on how the Eagles made the Jason Peters trade with the Buffalo Bills.
