Your Flag Football Bucs had a football scrimmage this past Tuesday.

It was a fairly short scrimmage -- three possessions for the Saints, two for us. (The game ended two plays into our third possession.) We scored the first time we had the ball. Our QB (kids are full-time QBs this year) threw about a 10 yard pass and the receiver ran another 30 yards into the end zone. On our next possession, we drove down the field, only to stall on the Saints 15 yard line. The aforementioned third possession consisted of two plays, one of which was a 10 yard first down catch along the sideline by The Playmaker.

On defense, we totally shut down the Saints. We blasted them with a four and out on their first drive. The next two possessions ended with interceptions. We yielded just a single first down.

Tonight is the punt, pass and kick competition. The regular season opens next Tuesday.
