Cutting the lawn and mowing down the Reds...

Got home today and changed into cooler clothes. The Playmaker walked in from school and we turned on the Phillies - Reds game while he unloaded his backpack (a Phillies one, of course). The first thing we saw was Cliff Lee stepping into the batter's box with the bases loaded and the score tied at 4. One pitch later it was 6-4 as Lee smoked a ground rule double to deep center. They got one more in the inning before we left The Playmaker in charge and went outside to cut the lawn.

While we melted in the heat, Our Son would come out and give us updates.

Lee singled in another run.

Contreras is warming up.

Chase Utley hit a home run.

Contreras went 1-2-3. Philles won, 10-4.

Good stuff.
