We lost our baseball game Saturday afternoon, 8-6. We made a nice comeback, as we were trailing 8-zip after two innings. The Playmaker was 3-4 at the plate with 1 RBI. (We batted around the order in one inning and he actually had two hits in the inning.) His best hit was a line drive double down the left field line (fair by about 3 inches). He came up in the last inning with runners on first and second. He was swinging for the fences, hoping for a historic walk-off dinger. With the count 2-2, the pitcher pumped a heater straight down the pike. The Playmaker swung and ... wait for it ... missed for strike three.
Oops. :-)
