Time for Andy Reid to go?

Well, maybe. At the very least, things need to change on the team and, more importantly, in the organization.

Stingy owner Jeff Laurie made a big splash a few years ago, proclaiming the Eagles were the "Gold Standard" of the NFL.

Now, they are the Crap Standard of the NFL.

Bad record? Check.
.
Bad drafting? Check.

Bad offense? Check.

Defense bad enough to give up a 97 yard drive in under two minutes to a team with no timeouts (and a losing record)? Check.
.
Bad special teams? Check.

Bad clock management? Check.

Cheap owner who is always under (way under!) the salary cap? Check.

Does Reid the primary draft evaluator/selector need to leave? YES. DOUBLE YES. This team can't draft for squat. They must lead the league in second round busts. And their first round scorecard is nothing to thump their chests about.

Does Reid the coach need to leave? Not, if he is willing to change the way things are run offensively. The dink and duck, errrrrrr West Coast offense does not work. And it is downright awful when you have a quarterback afraid to set up in the pocket and look down field. Donovan McNabb is a bad quarterback right now. As such, the Eagles' offense is bad. Really bad. (You know you are in trouble when your kicker is your second best offensive weapon.)

And if Reid is unwilling to change?

Adios, amigo!

As always, Reid says don't worry.
