We were tipped off about Sam Bradford around mid-afternoon when we got an e-mail from someone in Norman. Offensive tackle Trent Williams had already announced this morning he was staying and, of course, defensive tackle Gerald McCoy had said last week he was coming back.

Three out of four was better than we could have ever hoped for. It was a given that All-World tight end Jermaine Gresham was gone. A cinch top 15 pick, there was no logical reason for him to come back to Oklahoma.

And yet while steak tips were on the grill and a fire was in the fire place, our Blackberry buzzed. Another e-mail from Norman. This one was short and sweet. Click here! was all it said.

And so we did. And got immediately linked to the official OU Athletics web site.

Holy sheeeeet. Jermaine Gresham had announced he, too, was coming back?!?

And just like that, we went from 8-4 next year to 12-0 and another shot at the National Championship.
