Gotta be honest. Until Baron Davis bailed on Golden State and hooked up with the LA Clippers, I was confident Josh Smith would be a 76er. Now, the fact that the Warriors are almost $18 million under the cap makes them Major League Players in the free agent market. They are hoping to sign Elton Brand, but it now looks as though Brand will go back to the Clippers. Published reports have the Warriors infatuated with Corey Maggette, but they will almost certainly have an interest in Josh Smith. And let's be honest, if Smith wanted a winner, he'd be talking to the upper echelon teams. Teams that can only offer him around "5 mill per." Clearly, he is looking for big money. (Big Money!) And now, that means the Golden State Warriors.
