1. We own the fantasy football league! While others sat back and did nothing to help their teams this week, we were moving and grooving all over the place. A total of 19 waiver transactions were made this week. Get this! We made 12 of them! (And we won our opening game last week.) In the span of 48 hours, we picked up Robert Meachem, waived him and then picked him up again. Our latest move was letting go of backup QB Jake Delhomme and bringing in Mark Sanchez.

2. As our high school football coach said to us when he took over The Program: "We're gonna throw the sheeet out of the ball!" Flag football practice started this week and it is clear we have at least 5 (5!) kids who can take the ball to The House on any given play. Last year, we were the only team to crack the 40 point barrier in a game. This time around ... we're going for 50.
