Saturday: Best day of the week

We watched part or all of 11 college football games yesterday. Here you go:

Fresno State @ Cincinnati -- No one, and we mean no one, plays a tougher non conference skedge that Pat Hill and Fresno State. The problem is the Bulldogs have not won many of those games the last three years.

Indiana @ Michigan -- Admit it. It's good to have the Wolverines back on the map. And yes, The Playmaker is still a soft commitment to play in Ann Arbor in the year 2020.

South Florida @ Florida State -- Florida State is terrible. So how good does that make the Miami Hurricanes? Guess we'll find out this week when the co-Canes host OUr Sooners.

Miami @ Vah Tek -- We'll share our feelings on Miami QB Jacory Harris after next Saturday's game with Oklahoma. We don't want to jinx ourselves.

Arkansas @ Alabama -- We YouTubed that touchdown run by Tide frosh Trent Richardson. You will not see a more impressive run this season. (And we will post the video shortly.)

Illinois @ Ohio State -- Play along with us. Fill in the blank. Terrelle Pryor is the most overhyped college football player since...

Florida @ Kentucky -- Undoubtedly many peeps were happy to see Tim Tebow get knocked unconscious. And those same peeps were probably giddy to see Tebow wake up and puke his brains out. Unfortunately for those people, they will be forced to endure two weeks of Tebow medical updates (Florida is off next week) and then have to hear, yet again, how tough Tebow is when he makes his return. It will be as if he is the first player to ever come back from a concussion.

Notre Dame @ Purdue -- We have to admit it. Jimmy "Pass me a red cup" Clausen has turned into a good college quarterback.

Iowa @ Penn State -- Wow. Except for the first offensive play of the game, the Nittany Lions looked like high grade crap out there.

Texas Tech @ Houston -- Mike Leach and Kevin Sumlin. Two former OU assistant coaches. Two guys we would love to see return to Norman one day.

Washington State at USC -- Joe McKnight finally looks NFL ready. Well, except for the fumbles and nagging injuries, of course.
