The Playmaker's Friends and their fathers have started a 12 team fantasy football league this season. The draft was August 30. Of course, we had the honor of drafting last in the first round. (A point that caused us to bitch and moan during the entire on-line draft. It also meant we had back-to-back picks, since the draft order reversed after every round. While others made their picks in 30 seconds or less, we used our entire four minutes, 2 minutes for each pick, just to hiss people off. Did we mention this is just a Friendly League?!?)

Anyway, here is our team:

QB: Drew Brees and Chad Pennington (whom we will probably be waiving)

WR: Larry Fitzgerald, Eddie Royal, Antonio Bryant & Jeremy Maclin

RB: Ryan Grant, Clinton Portis, LenDale White & Ricky Williams

TE: Dallas Clarke & Brent Celek

K: David Akers

Def: Dallas Cowboys (Just minutes ago we waived Carolina, since they are playing the Eagles in what we think will be a fairly high scoring game. After the game, we will most likely take Carolina back.)

We feel GREAT about Brees, Fitzgerald, Clarke and Akers -- and pretty good about Grant. ***However, we will be scouring the free agent market for another wide receiver and running back.

Brent's NFL Suicide Pool -- Additionally, we are back in the Last Man Standing competition this year. The rules have changed, as you can now only pick a team twice all season. In the spirit of Survive and Move On, we are taking the Patriots over the Bills tomorrow night. The Playmaker, fresh off winning the 30 man March Madness Pool, is also playing. And he, too, is taking the Pats.
