Team 801 hit the frost covered field at 8 AM this morning. In between keeping their hands in their hoodies and fighting off the efforts of their moms to swaddle them in blankets, they won their soccer game, 8-5. The Playmaker had four goals and assisted two others. We are now 2-0 on the season.
***In news that is almost as good, we got a text from Norman this morning stating that rumors are rampant that Sam Bradford will return to the field for the Sooners' big game next week at Druggie U Miami. Not sure about this one. If The Playmaker was in Sam's shoes, we'd make damn sure he was 100 percent before letting him loose against the (co)Canes. Assuming The U beats Vah Tek today, we can totally see Miami alums thugs like Michael Irvin and Alonzo Highsmith putting a bounty on Bradford's shoulder.
